Goodbye Storythere

Storythere began as a small experiment rooted in my love for tabletop storytelling. I built it because I wanted a place to practice and improve my own storytelling through interactive, game-book style experiences. Along the way, I opened the doors for others, hoping it could be a space where people shared their worlds, characters, and adventures with their peers and communities.

Despite the effort and the heart I put into it, the platform never quite became the alternative I hoped it would be. It didn’t resonate strongly enough or help people in the way I intended. And truthfully, I kept creating most of my own stories privately at the table with close friends, not here.

There are so many fantastic communities, tools, and spaces dedicated to storytelling, and I’m glad I had the chance to take a swing at building one. I’m also at peace with letting it go.
